Kevin Agosti - August Virgil Music

Kevin Agosti has spent his lifetime playing music, writing songs, and supporting a family with his craft. He might tell you that ‘Its all behind me now” but he continues to inspire the next generation with his unending love of music, and you can still (occasionally) find him on stage sharing the joy with his family and friends.

Kevin plays Guitar, Bass, Sings, some piano and just about anything else. Known for his vocal stylings and keen ear. Kevin uses Avid Pro Tools for recording and production and has a fully equipped home studio.

As a Singer Songwriter Kevin has had his successes over the years and has worked with legendary producers and musicians. He has released several albums of original music and written hundreds of songs mainly in the Folk and Country genre. One of his songs: ‘Maple Syrup’ was something of a Vermont anthem and resurfaces on Vermont radio occasionally to this day.

He may have never fully cracked through the chaff of mainstream success but in this business of music sometimes you ride the comet and others you’re just hanging on; but you live for the ride. Surely, he made a name for himself working it hard on the local scene in Vermont for many many years and was recognized in multiple trades and well respected by any and all who had the pleasure of working with him.

HannibalAgosti_Pickwicks Hannibal Hill and Kevin Agosti met in high school and have been friends ever since. Having written literally hundreds of songs together and performed in a variety of bands Hannibal and Agosti were a perfect match.
